Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati B.Des admission is based on candidates' performance in the UCEED exam, followed by a councelling process. IIT Guwahati B.Des cutoff 2023 was concluded after Round 3 Seat Allotment Result. As per the IIT Guwahati cutoff 2023, the Round 1 and the Last Round closing ranks were 11 and 14, respectively for the ST category students. So, candidates seeking admisison to this institute must secure a rank between 10 and 15 to get a seat for B.Des. The cutoff trend for BTech at IIT Guwahati - Indian Institute of Technology has been increasing in the recent years. In 2022, the closing rank for BTech under general category for all India quota was 589. In 2023, it increased to 654. Likewise, the cut off ranks have changed from 298 to 267 for OBC, 175 to 173 for SC, 77 to 83 for ST, 103 to 91 for EWS, 37 to 37 for PWD. This trend is likely to continue in the coming years, as the demand for engineering education in India continues to grow. Similar cut off trend can be seen for female candidates under all categories however the ranks are slightly different.

IIT Guwahati cutoff has been released upto 6 rounds of JEE Advanced cutoffs for admission to BTech. The cutoffs are released on a rolling basis, and the seats are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. The cutoffs are based on the following factors:The JEE Advanced score of the candidateThe category of the candidateThe number of seats available in the courseCandidates must visit the official website of JEE Main entrance exam to read clear instructions on how to proceed with the JoSAA counselling process, once the round is released.

IIT Guwahati cut off rank in Round 6 for BTech. in Computer Science and Engineering is 654 which is very close to this range. This was for general category under All India quota. Unless the candidate belongs to some other category or domicile, one can not afford to score less than this. With this rank, there is a probability of getting admission however since, the cut offs keep changing from round to round, better ranks definitely increases your chances of getting admission in IIT Guwahati - Indian Institute of Technology.

IIT Guwahati cutoff 2023 ranks for BTech in Computer Science and Engineering other than General category are mentioned below 267 for OBC173 for SC83 for ST91 for EWS37 for PWDWhile the admissions are based on the scores/rank obtained in JEE Advanced, the last cut offs also change a lot depending on All India quota or Home State. It also varies if the applicant is a female.

The opening and closing ranks for IIT Guwahati cutoff depends on the category and quota of candidates. For general category under All India, opening rank was 601 and closing rank was 654. Cut off are differant when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. In All India, opening and closing rank for female candidates was 204 and 1718. Admission to B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering in IIT Guwahati is based on the scores obtained in the entrance exam JEE Advanced. Applicants are advised to confirm what category are they applying while checking for cut offs.
