All the students seeking admission to the Bachelor of Design (BDes) programme offered at IIT Guwahati must apply for UCEED first, and then submit a duly filled application to the institute. Each candidate can attempt UCEED a maximum of two times in consecutive years, and the score of the entrance exam is valid only for one year. To be considered for admission to UCEED 2025 participating institutes, the candidates need to meet the following conditions simultaneously: Age limit - The candidate needs to be born on or after October 1, 1999. For candidates belonging to SC, ST, and PwD categories, there is a relaxation of five years. UCEED 2025 qualification - The candidate must have qualified in the UCEED 2025 entrance exam and must have been allocated a merit rank.Qualifying examination - The candidate must have passed all the subjects in the qualifying exam (10+2 or equivalent) in 2023 or should be appearing in the qualifying exam for the first time in 2025.

As per official information, the eligibility criteria for BDes at IIT Guwahati course admission 2024 is through UCEED exam conducted by IIT Bombay. A candidate can attempt UCEED for a maximum of two times and that too in consecutive years. However, the candidate should have passed in all subjects in Class 12 or equivalent exam in 2023, or the candidate should be appearing for the qualifying examination for the first time in 2024.
