IIT Guwahati cut off rank in Round 6 for BTech. in Computer Science and Engineering is 654 which is very close to this range. This was for general category under All India quota. Unless the candidate belongs to some other category or domicile, one can not afford to score less than this. With this rank, there is a probability of getting admission however since, the cut offs keep changing from round to round, better ranks definitely increases your chances of getting admission in IIT Guwahati - Indian Institute of Technology.

IIT Guwahati cutoff 2023 ranks for BTech in Computer Science and Engineering other than General category are mentioned below 267 for OBC173 for SC83 for ST91 for EWS37 for PWDWhile the admissions are based on the scores/rank obtained in JEE Advanced, the last cut offs also change a lot depending on All India quota or Home State. It also varies if the applicant is a female.

The opening and closing ranks for IIT Guwahati cutoff depends on the category and quota of candidates. For general category under All India, opening rank was 601 and closing rank was 654. Cut off are differant when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. In All India, opening and closing rank for female candidates was 204 and 1718. Admission to B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering in IIT Guwahati is based on the scores obtained in the entrance exam JEE Advanced. Applicants are advised to confirm what category are they applying while checking for cut offs.

IIT Guwahati cutoff 2023 for General category candidates in All India quota for BTech in Computer Science and Engineering . For female candidates in general category under All India quota, 1718 was the closing rank. BTech cut off varies depending on the category and domicile/quota of the applicant. IIT Guwahati admissions 2024 are based on JEE Main 2024 ranks followed by JEE Advanced ranks and further followed by JoSAA Counselling. Candidates seeking admission to IIT Guwahati BTech  course must appear for JEE Main and JEE Advanced in order to be eligible for further admission process.

IIT Guwahati has a seat intake of 33 for MDes, including 13 seats for the General category. The institute reserves 3 seats for the EWS General category and 9 seats for OBC-NCL. For SC and ST, the institute offers 5 and 3 seats, respectively. This seat intake is as per the past years' data and hence is subject to changes. Candidates who have completed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects is the basic eligibility for BDes offered at IIT Guwahati. Further, the selection of candidates is based on the scores obtained by them in the Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design) followed by a counselling round conducted at the institute.

IIT Guwahati offers three specialisations under the two-year MSc programme with a seat intake of 180. The institute offers the MSc programme in Chemistry, Mathematics & Computing, and Physics with a seat intake of 60 per specialisation. Admission to all these courses is done through a common process. Candidates are selected based on scores of IIT JAM entrance exam, followed by a round of counselling.

The total course fee is inclusive of multiple components such as the tuition fee, security deposit, alumni fee, etc. Candidates taking up hostel facilities may have to pay the fee for it, separately.
