The last year 2022 cutoff ranks for B.Tech in Electronics and Electrical Engineering at IIT Guwahati - Indian Institute of Technology other than General category were - 1033 for OBC, 592 for SC, 405 for ST & 430 for EWS. While the admissions are based on the scores/rank obtained in JEE exam, the last cut offs also change a lot depending on All India quota or Home State. It also varies if the applicant is a female.

The opening and closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For the General category under All India, opening rank was 7300 and closing rank was 7859. The cutoffs are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. In All India, the opening and closing rank for female candidates was 15079 and 15280. Admission to BTech in Civil Engineering in IIT Guwahati - Indian Institute of Technology is based on the scores obtained in the entrance exam JEE. Applicants are advised to confirm what category are they applying while checking for cut offs.

For 2023, cut off was 8453 for General category candidates in All India quota for B.Tech. in Civil Engineering in IIT Guwahati - Indian Institute of Technology. For female candidates in general category under All India quota, 14663 was the closing rank. B.Tech cut off varies depending on the category and domicile/quota of the applicant.

IIT Guwahati cutoff 2024 was released upto five rounds, wherein, B.Tech. in Biosciences and Bioengineering Last Round was, 9178 for General category candidates at IIT Guwahati - Indian Institute of Technology. For female candidates in general category under All India quota, 17156 was the closing rank. B.Tech cut off varies depending on the category and domicile/quota of the applicant.Considering the Last Round rank for General AI category, it can be observed that BTech in Biosciences and Bioengineering had shown a fluctuating trend over the past three years.

The candidates who have applied and paid the application and have made a minor error in the application form have the option to make corrections to it. The JEE Advanced correction date shall be notified by IIT Guwahati on its website. Further, only certain can be corrected in the form.

JEE Advanced Correction facility usually depends on the situation and time, as sometimes authority will provide the correction facility and sometimes not. Candidates are advised to fill application form very cautiously to avoid any kind of problems later. So, cancellation of application depends upon the seriousness of mistakes you made. So, wait for correction window, so that you can correct your mistakes.

During IIT Dhanbad placements 2023, the highest package offered was INR 56 LPA whereas during IIT Guwahati placements 2023, the highest package offered was INR 1.1 crore per annum. Moreover, the average package offered during IIT Dhanbad placements was INR 17.69 LPA whereas the average package offered during IIT Guwahati placements was INR 41 LPA. When compared according to the B.Tech fees, the IIT Dhanbad B.Tech fees is around INR 4 LPA whereas IIT Guwahati B.Tech fees is INR 8 LPA.

1. How do I apply :-
Interested candidates need to separately apply for Ph.D. in the Interdisciplinary Research in Humanities, Sciences, Engineering and Design Domain. In this domain research proposal along with the proposed faculty members will be available in the advertisement.
2. What is the process of selection
Each proposal will have a separate committee to decide the shortlisting criteria and mode of selection. There will be a four-member committee comprises of two proposed faculty members and one nominee of both the HoD . This committee will submit shortlisting and selection criteria to the academic section for approval.
3. Am I Eli
