I don't think so, as studying abroad may cost you a lot, and you know IIT's are one of the best in the world, so I think you should think again about it. The placements at IIT Guwahati are great as well. The highest domestic package offered during IIT Guwahati placements 2023 was INR 1.20 crore per annum, and the highest international package stood at INR 2.40 crore per annum.

IIT Guwahati has a seat intake of 114 for the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) specialisation offered under the BTech programme. This seat intake has been derived from the official website of JoSAA. At the time of counselling, candidates are admitted based on their rank in JEE Advanced and in accordance with the seat intake and the reservation policies.

To get admission to IIT Guwahati BTech course, students must follow the below steps:A valid BTech eligibility criteria: Class 12 in the Science stream with Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics as compulsory subjectsAppear for the JEE Main and JEE Advanced exams.A score above the JEE Advance cutoff.Participate in the JoSAA counselling for seat allocation.Pay the BTech admission fee of IIT Guwahati.
