IIT Kanpur offers numerous undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral courses, including BTech, BSc, MTech, MSc, MBA, MDes, MSc+PhD, MS by Research, and PhD. The institute also offers several integrated courses for candidates willing to change their courses. The duration for all the UG and PG courses ranges from two to five years depending on the course. For admission to any of these courses, students are either required to apply via the official website of the institute or via the accepted exam's official website.

The application process for all the courses offered by IIT Kanpur is different. For all the courses, the process is as follows:BTech and BSc/ BS aspirants must fill out the application form for JEE (Main) through the official website of the National Testing Agency (NTA) (nta.ac.in). The application fee for boys is INR 625 and INR 325 for girls. IIT Kanpur cutoff 2023 was 6116 for General category candidates in All India quota for BTech in Civil Engineering. For female candidates in general category under All India quota, 12621 was the closing rank. B.Tech cut off varies depending on the category and domicile/quota of the applicant. IIT Kanpur admissions 2024 are based on JEE Main 2024 ranks followed by JEE Advanced ranks and further followed by JoSAA Counselling. Candidates seeking admission to IIT Kanpur BTech course must appear for JEE Main and JEE Advanced in order to be eligible for further admission process.

IIT Kanpur - Indian Institute of Technology will release 6 rounds of JEE Advanced cutoffs for admission to B.Tech. The cutoffs will be released on a rolling basis, and the seats will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. The cutoffs will be based on the following factors:The JEE Advanced score of the candidateThe category of the candidateThe number of seats available in the courseCandidates must visit the official website of entrance exam to read clear instructions on how to proceed with the counselling process, once the round is released.

IIT Kanpur cutoff 2023 ranks for BTech in Computer Science and Engineering at IIT Kanpur other than General category are mentioned below: 146 for OBC77 for SC41 for ST47 for EWS13 for PWDWhile the admissions are based on the scores/rank obtained in JEE Advanced, the last cut offs also change a lot depending on All India quota or Home State. It also varies if the applicant is a female.
