In all IIT, IIT Guwahati has best infrastructure, in fact one of best infrastructure in the world. But in case of Kanpur and Kharagpur, IIT- Kanpur has better infrastructure and placement, but Kharagpur is one of best IIT we have.

The package depends upon the company, experience of the student and the profile offered to the student. The average package for a MBA student comes to around 10.25 lacs as per last year's estimate and it is liable to change with each year.

The eligibility criteria for applying is 85 percentile in CAT and at least 60% in 10th, 12th and graduation for general category students. However, after taking into consideration the applications pool, interview calls are given.

Yes, you may choose private college. If you are pursuing engineering from reputed private institutions like BITS Pilani, IIIT-Hyderabad and Thapar University, then there is a great scope for you in India and abroad.
