The main admission route to B.E. / B.Tech in Saranathan College of Engineering is through Tamil Nadu Lateral Entry Admissions (TNLEA) or Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) conducted by the government. But then, there are some direct admissions too, and this can be more likely in the case of a non-Tamil Nadu student or management quota seat.Here's how you can still find entry opportunities without TNLEA:1. Management Quota Quite a number of private engineering colleges reserve a number of seats under the management quota including Saranathan. Such seats may be filled by non-participants in the state counselling process. You'd have to get in touch directly with the college asking for availability and eligibility criteria along with fees involved.2. *Non-Resident Students*: You may be eligible for direct admission if you come from outside Tamil Nadu as non-Tamil Nadu students are generally exempted from counselling in TNLEA/TNEA, although they will have to qualify for the minimum eligibility criteria.     

Through Management Quota one can get admission to B.E. / B.Tech in Solamalai College of Engineering (SCE) without TNEA (Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions). Though TNEA is the primary admission process for students to enter through the government quota, the college admits students through the management quota, where the student's selection is purely based on candidate 10+2 marks with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as core subjects, and in some cases, even through an internal assessment of the institution.
