The 2023 course-wise placement data is not out yet. According to the official report, Dual Degree emerged as the top course during IIT Kharagpur placements 2022 with 577 students placed. The official placement brochure for the 2024-25 academic year has been released on the official website of the institute. To download the report, visit the CDC link available at IIT Kharagpur official website. Click on the 'Proactive Disclosure and Tender' dropdown. The IIT KGP placements and internship reports for the past few years will be disclosed. Click on the desired report and download it.

The IIT Kharagpur average package offered during the 2023 placements is yet to be released. Once released, it will be updated here. However, according to some media reports, the IIT Kharagpur the highest package offered in 2023 was more than INR 2.68 crore per annum. In 2022, the highest package stood at INR 2.40 crore per annum. In addition to this, the 2022 median package is released in the NIRF report 2023. The official website of institute doesnot reveal the salary details. The IIT Kharagpur CSE average package and the other branches salary data will be updated as and when released. However, the NIRF report 2023 is out which includes the median package details for various courses. The highest median package offered during 2022 placements was INR 18.75 LPA and was made to BTech students. The IIT Kharagpur salary details for 2025 placements have not been released officially. The placement session 2025 is still ongoing. As per the data fetched from multiple media reports, the IIT Kharagpur highest package offered so far during 2025 placements was above INR 2.14 crore per annum. The batch has received over 800 job offers, including PPOs. Further, 13 students secured international offers during the 2025 drive.

The highest salary package offered for this programme during 2020-21 was INR 70 LPA. After that year, the highest salary package offered by the institute for different courses stood close to INR 2.68 crore per annum.
