The institute has given weightage to all the sections in CAT cut-off for the final shortlisting of the students. For General category candidates, the minimum CAT overall percentile is 90. This is relaxed for reserved category students and stands at 80 percentile for NC-OBC category students and 75 for SC, ST and PwD students. However, for final admisison, there is only an overall cutoff. For General category candidates, minimum CAT percentile is 90. The selection of candidates for admission to the 2023-25 batch of MBA at VGSoM (IIT Kharagpur) is a two-step procedure. Applicants, who are shortlisted based on the eligibility criteria are called for an online Personal Interview (PI). Final admission to the MBA programme is then offered on the basis of a cumulative score of the application rating (AR), performance score in CAT 2022, and the candidate’s performance in the online PI process. No, IIT Kharagpur does not accept WBJEE score. Students seeking admission to BTech at IIT Kharagpur must have a valid score in JEE Main and JEE Advanced and go through JoSAA counselling after that to secure a seat here.
