According to the AICTE Guidance, candidates who have completed B.Sc. With a minimum mark of 45 percent and have completed class 12 with the subject of mathematics are eligible. So Yes, It is possible to join B.Tech course after completing B.Sc. Through the lateral entry scheme which is offered by most of the Engineering colleges. Hope it helps.

You can opt for ECE in NIT Jamshedpur as it is an old and prestigious college of India. Average package is around INR 16 lacs. Average package for CSE in IIIT Jabalpur is around INR 9.1 LPA

Hello Subbu Krishna, aah. I can understand your angst and the anxiety about selection of mist suitable course. It's of course the right thing to do. Coming to these two courses at two different IIT's, I feel that the one in Guwahati may encompass more areas and hence you will gain knowledge in these areas. The students who are graduating from IIT and have a CGPA of 8 or above out of 10, can get direct admission without appearing for GATE. And the students who are not from IIT should have to take 750-780 rank for securing a seat in any branch of IIT Kharagpur through GATE.
