For 2023, cut off was 13086 for General category candidates in All India quota for B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering in IIT Palakkad - Indian Institute of Technology. For female candidates in general category under All India quota, 18438 was the closing rank. B.Tech cut off varies depending on the category and domicile/quota of the applicant.

The total tuition fee of the MSc programme at IIT Palakkad is INR 6,000. This fee only consists of the total cost of tuition and does not include the additional fee such as the hostel fee or the mess fee. This fee is taken from unofficial sources and hence is indicative. The BTech course is offered in five specialisations at IIT Palakkad: Civil Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Data Science Engineering, Electrical and Mechanical Engineering.
