The marks needed to get an admission in IIT Patna through JEE Advanced change each year according to the level of difficulty with the number of applicants appearing for the exam. Competition-wise, a rank that falls within the top 10,000 is considered highly competitive for the popular branches; therefore, it is more important to try and score very high.

JEE Main and Advanced is among the most rigorous engineering examinations in the country, one which evaluates a student's knowledge in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics with a knack for solving problems to arrive at sound critical thinking. It's really challenging, but consistency with preparation and very good strategies would help counter all those challenges an examination would offer. And though with dedication and proper approach, it could be achievable.

IIT Patna M.Tech CSE is a two years postgraduate-level course lasting. The programme fee structure is cumulative of multiple components such as tuition fee, hostel fee, library deposit, training and placement fee, etc. The M.Tech fee range from INR 20,000 to INR 10 lakh.

The M.Tech admission dates for 2025 at IIT Patna is out now since the GATE 2025 exam dates are out. Candidates must refer to the GATE dates for IIT Patna M.Tech 2025 admission. IIT Roorkee has REVISED the GATE 2025 application form dates. As per the revised schedule, GATE 2025 registrations had started on 28 August, 2024. The last date for GATE 2025 registration have been extended to October 3, 2024 (without late fees). Earlier, candidates had to submit the application form by 26 September 2024, with regular fees. IIT Patna accepts CUET score for the BSc programme. To get admission to the BSc programme at IIT Patna the aspiring candidates need to have a minimum of 60% in class 12. This fee only consists of the tuition fee for entire duration of course and does not contain the cost of mess or the hostel fee. Yes, it is possible to join IIT Patna wihout JEE Advanced for courses other than BTech. For BTech programme JEE Advanced with JEE Mains is necessary. For other courses, such as M.Tech the asping candidates need to clear GATE with COAP counselling. Candidates who are seeking admission to the MTech, BBA, BSc or EMBA need not take JEE Advanced.
