In all sections, questions not attempted will result in zero mark. There is no provision for partial marking. The candidates are required to select the answer (s) for MCQ and MSQ type questions using the mouse. The answer for NAT questions must be entered using a mouse on a virtual numeric keypad. The keyboard of the computer will be disabled.There is a provision for using online virtual calculator. No, you are definitely not eligible. You have to have Physics for 4 semester and Mathematics for 2nd semester in B.Sc. There is no restrictions on +2 subjects.

Pedagogy at IITs and conventional engineering colleges differs quite a lot. Conventional Engineering colleges teachers do not have flexibility to modify syllabus and use modern teaching technologies. They focus on covering syllabus and more on remembrance of facts and examinations are subjective. Whereas teaching at IITs is focused on developing sound theoretical base and its application using logical and creative thinking by students. 12th board percentage will not be included but a certain percentage will be set as cutoff( for CBSE it's75%) and those getting below will not be able to write the examination.
