You are aiming for IIT, then you must have to do hard work. Focus on your goal, concentrate on what you learn on daily basis. Practice as much as you can, revise content on regular intervals. Because a year hard work can let you to a bright future. Hopefully, you achieve it.

The best institute for JEE are FIITJEE, Resonance, Allen and Aakash, you can join one of them or you can do self-study.

You can take admission in any coaching class for JEE preparation and start preparing yourself with the aim to be an IITian. You can start from 11th itself. But your mindset would be like that only.

If you are from Rajasthan, then you can consider Sikar, as it is a growing city in field of education, where there are many institutes to prepare yourself for IIT JEE. No coaching is the best. All the coaching are just a big fat businesses producing garbage. No one will focus on you or your studies. You'll be lost in the crowd and probably took up bad habits. Instead go for the local tutors or personal tutors. They will guide you properly.

Don't ever think about failure, always keep a positive attitude and motivate yourself with what you aim to do and what will get you there. Software engineering can be done from any institute, all the institutions in India teach basically the same thing.

Engage is a good book, but go for books like engage only after you are completed with your study material. Don't be limited to these books, keep them secondary. After you have completed your course and your mock test etc., then for extra practice, you can refer them.

You can clear, if you have the x-factor to do so. Jokes apart, it is a bit difficult job, but not impossible. If you have the guts and time to spare, you definitely would be able to do it.

Galgotias University and Sharda University are all private college, which charge a hefty amount of money, but you'll definitely get good and competitive students along with lots of opportunities. Dropping is not a good decision always. Yes, it can turn out to be better but the chances are real low. Think about it and then go for dropping.
