At IIT Roorkee, the minimum aggregate required for its offerd courses ranges between 50% to 75% in Class 12 boards. Hence, you are certainly eligible to apply for the courses provided at the institute. However, admissions to the programmes at IIT Roorkee are done on entrance basis.Candidates of General, Gen-EWS and OBC category must have secured at least 60% marks or CGPA of 6.00 on a 10 point scale at the qualifying degree level.Candidates must have passed their Class XII (or equivalent) board examination with a minimum of five subjects, securing at least 75% aggregate marks. In order to be eligible to apply for BSc at IIT Roorkee, candidate must have completed Class 12 with a minimum of 75%. Moreover, interested students must qualify JEE Main followed by JEE Advanced exam. Admissions to IIT Roorkee BSc courses will be made based on merit in JEE Main+ JEE advanced and seat availability intake of IIT Roorkee.

To be eligible for MBA admission at IIT Roorkee, candidates need to possess a graduation degree/ professional qualification in any stream from a UGC-recognised university with a minimum of 60% aggregate (55% for SC/ ST/ PwD candidates).Apart from this the entrance exam scores are also considered by the institute for admission to the MBA programme. For IIT graduates the entrance exam scores are not required their admissions are completely based on their personal interview conducted in the institute campus.

To be eligible for MBA programme offered at IIT Roorkee, candidates need to possess a graduation degree/ professional qualification in any stream from a UGC-recognised university with a minimum of 60% aggregate (55% for SC/ ST/ PwD candidates). IIT Roorkee under its Department of Management Studies (DOMS) offers a two-year MBA programme across five specialisations. It is a full-time residential programme which is divided into eight terms.
