IIT Roorkee accepts IIT JAM scores for admission to the MSc course. Analysing the IIT JAM cutoff, MSc in Economics was turned out to be the most competitive specialisations when compared it with the other four specialisations. For Mathematics, the Round 1 and the Last Round closing ranks were 247 and 272, respectively for the Economically Weaker Section category candidates for the All India Quota. So, considering the 2023 cutoff ranks, yes a candidate can get into IIT Roorkee with 200 rank in IIT JAM for MSc in Mathematics.

Hey as per the new education policy 2020 you can take the mixture of many subjects while doing your graduation in any particular subject. But as IIT Roorkee has not completely implemented this new policy so you have to take mathematics as compulsory in 10+2 along with chemistry.

The tuition fee waiver / concession in IITs and NITs are as follows: For GEN and OBC students having annual family income less than Rs. 1 Lacs and all SC, ST & PwD students: 100% tuition fee waiver. Only fee in other heads like exam fee, hostel and mess fee, gymkhana fee, etc., need to be paid.For GEN and OBC students having annual family income between Rs. 1 Lacs and Rs. 5 lakh: 2/3rd waiver in tuition fee. The last year 2022 cutoff ranks for B.Tech. in Engineering Physics at IIT Roorkee - Indian Institute of Technology other than General category are - 2648 for OBC, 1764 for SC, 894 for ST, 1062 for EWS. While the admissions are based on the scores/rank obtained in JEE exam, the last cut offs also change a lot depending on All India quota or Home State. It also varies if the applicant is a female.

The Opening and Closing ranks depend on the category and quota of candidates. For the IIT Roorkee cutoff 2023, the closing rank was 687. Cutoff are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even the domicile of the home state. In All India, the closing rank for female candidates was 1866. Admission to BTech in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence at IIT Roorkee - Indian Institute of Technology is based on the scores obtained in the JEE Advanced entrance exam. Applicants are advised to confirm what category are they applying for while checking for cut offs.

For 2022, cut off was 413 for General category candidates in All India quota for B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering in IIT Roorkee - Indian Institute of Technology. For female candidates in general category under All India quota, 1463 was the closing rank. B.Tech cut off varies depending on the category and domicile/quota of the applicant.

IIT Roorkee - Indian Institute of Technology will release 6 rounds of JEE Advanced cutoffs for admission to B.Tech. The cutoffs will be released on a rolling basis, and the seats will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. The cutoffs will be based on the following factors:The JEE Advanced score of the candidateThe category of the candidateThe number of seats available in the courseCandidates must visit the official website of entrance exam to read clear instructions on how to proceed with the counselling process, once the round is released.
