The cut-off are as follows:-
General cut-off is about 94 percentile, OBC-85 percentile and SC/ST-70 percentile.

You should atleast make percitile above 95

Students get placed in various sectors of civil engineering like structures, geotechnical, hydrology,etc. as per the requirement of the company. Average pay scale lies in the range of Rs.5-5.5 lacs p.a. and goes as high as Rs.12-14 lacs
