IIT, Rropar is better option rather than NSIT. At IIT, Ropar placement is much better.

No doubt that IIT are always better institutions than any other engineering colleges. They provide you the best environment for study and research. Our Indian government also focus on these IITs in order to make them centre of excellence and promote research activities there.
So according to me IIT Ropar should be prefered.

NIT Trichy is the best for CSE. They are mostly the CSE students who bag the highest packages.

Hello Aarti, according to different ranking IIT, Ropar being the IIT is much better than the other in terms of good placement, impressive curriculum, good faculty members etc for CSE branch. Hence you should go for it. Best of luck.

Well I am not from the CSE department but I think I ll be able to answer this question. First of all, IIT Hyderabad, Indore and Ropar are the top IIT. Among the IIT. Established in 2008. Also, as per the NIRF rankings of 2016 and 2017, IIT Ropar has been ranked as the 3rd best IIT of 2008. Also, these 2008 IIT. Have almost completed a decade and it will be unfair to call them a new IIT. They have established themselves in the past 9 years and are still growing at a very fast rate. Mentioned college are best on their own place. But, branches are different that you have entered. So, choose branch first which want to pursue. You may go for DTU if you have interest in computer. IIT Kharagpur is also option for you. Metallurgy is also better branch.
