Dear aspirant, Glad to meet you. Students who have done B.Sc. (IT/ CS are eligible to take admission in B.Tech Computer Science through lateral entry mode. According to the AICTE Guidance, candidates who have completed B.Sc. With a minimum mark of 45 percent and have completed class 12 with the subject of mathematics are eligible. So Yes, It is possible to join B.Tech course after completing B.Sc. Through the lateral entry scheme which is offered by most of the Engineering colleges. Hope it helps.

No, you will not get admission in IIT, as admission are given to top 10000 general rank holders.

See, if your JEE score is below 70, then there is very less chance for you to score good marks in the next year. (I am talking about the chances, there can be exceptions but exceptions are very less)
Still, if you know that you won't get any decent college this time and have a decent grasp over the basics, then go for dropping.

You can collect previous year JEE Mains papers from internet. You can try to solve questions from books like JEE Mains entrance exam book. You can revise your class 11th and 12th books.
