Hii,
For any IIT you should have to score around 180+ Because the availability of seats is very low. To get into IITs you need a rank under 70. General candidates, with 193+ marks, can make it to IIT Bombay. Hope it helps.

Hello,
Nice to meet you. It would always be my advice, to begin with, NCERT. Any other study material you use should only be over and above NCERT. Understand the base thoroughly. If you have a strong foundation, your work is half done. The practice of whatever you learn is equally important. Some of the books that could help you would be:
FOR PHYSICS:
Concepts of Physics Vol I and Vol II by H. C Verma
IIT Physics D C Pandey
Problems in Physics by S. S Krotov
FOR CHEMISTRY:
Organic Chemistry by Morrison and Boyd
Physical Chemistry by O. P Tandon
Concise Inorganic Chemistry by J D Lee
Modern Approach to Chemical Calculations by R C Mukherjee ( for

Hello Shabin Francis, this course in IIT Bombay is most sought after. However students choice fluctuate greatly every year. However I would strongly recommend that you should download the predictor for JEE Advanced of Shiksha. This will help you in predicting ranking required to get admission. Best wishes to you.

It's great connecting with you. To secure a seat in one of the NITs, IIITs or GFTIs with a Respectable Branch, being from SC Category you must target a SC Rank of atleast 7k. For the SC Rank, the corresponding CRL will be anywhere around 150-160k, and a Percentile Target of atleast 85-86. Thank you.

It's good if you have more than 75% in board if you are going to give boards this year. But this year, there is no 75% criteria in JEE.
