Sure he can! First ask your son what he wants to do which stream he is interested in! There are many ways he can do everything! I am telling my case. During class 12th examination I gave JEE then got selected and gave advance and shortlisted in many colleges but I am not getting my choice of stream! I want to take CSE as my stream but the cutoff is too low I dint get the chance, so I opted for another colleges! So if your son is interested in aeronautics engineering he sure can give JEE during his 12th exams no issue in that! No, it's not required. JEE Mains 2 paper only for get admission in nits in architecture. If you get admission in architecture in iits then you need to qualify for the AAT exam after JEE advance.
