As per the 6th cutoff list of DU for M.Sc. Physics The last admitted students has 72.39 GPAT graduation level. While for M.Sc. Chemistry this was 69.34% in 5th round. So DU is difficult to get for M.Sc. Courses. The admission in IITs for M.Sc. Courses are based on the Joint Admission Test conducted by IISc. Bangalore. The eligibility criteria of JAM is given below. JAM eligibility for M.Sc. Courses :
1. All candidates admitted through JAM should have a Bachelors degree.
2. In the qualifying degree, the aggregate marks or CGPA/CPI without rounding-off (taking into account all subjects, including languages and subsidiaries, all years combined) should be at least 55% or 5.5 out of 10 for General/OBC (NCL)/EWS category candidates, and 50% or 5.0 out of 10 for SC/ST and PwD category candidates. So unfortunately you are not eligible for JAM also. In my opinion you should go with some Private or state colleges or can change your stream also. Some design courses can be the good option for you if interested.

Indian Institute of Technology - Joint Admission Test IIT JAM is an online entrance exam for master in Science for candidates who want to get admission in IITs, NITs and IISc under courses like M.Sc. Integrated Ph.D. Joint M.Sc-PhD, M.Sc-PhD Dual Degree. IIT JAM was conducted by IISc Bangalore in 2021. It is expected to be conduct by IIT Roorkee in 2022. 2. IIT JAM exam include Multiple choice Question, Multiple select questions, Numerical Answer type Questions.
3. Number of questions are 60 and total marks is 100.
4. The mode of examination is online and duration of exam is 3 hours. Conducting IIT released merit list after declaration of result. Candidates whose name has appeared in merit list, then go for counselling and on the basis of that, the will get preferred IITs or IISc. This is the basic information you should be careful about.
