You can take the IIT JAM Geology exam if you have a BA in geography. An education in Earth Sciences, Geology, or related fields is typically required to be eligible for IIT JAM Geology. Geography courses are frequently pertinent, so your degree should fulfill the requirements. It is advisable to verify the particular qualifying requirements for the year you are applying, as they may differ.

With a SC category rank of 5076 in JEE Advanced 2024, admission to a prestigious IIT may be difficult for popular programs like mechanical, electrical, or computer science engineering. On the other hand, you might be able to get into less competitive programs or at more recent IITs. Investigate options in engineering branches such as Metallurgy, Civil, or Chemical Engineering; take into account IITs with higher closing ranks for students in the SC category.

Yes, admission to Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) is possible for people with disabilities (PwD). PwD candidates in all categories are eligible for a 5% reservation at the IITs through the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced. Furthermore, special allowances are given to these candidates, including loosened qualifying requirements and cutoff scores.
