Candidates must get 75% in Class 12 or be in the top 20 percentile in order to be eligible for JOSAA counselling. The qualifying percentage is 65% for candidates who identify as SC, ST, or PwD. (to be admitted to IITs). The ability to participate in JoSAA 2024 counselling will be extended to all applicants who meet the requirements for JEE Advanced 2024. No! IIT JAM is a test conducted for MSc course admissions at IITs and NITs. Since IIT does not provide an MSc in Botany course, IIT JAM exam scores are not accepted for admission to MSc Botany.

Yes, candidates willing to take admission to the IIT Dhardwad BTech programme, must appear for the JEE Main exam. The institute accepts the JEE Advanced scores for admission to its BTech programme. However, to qualify for the JEE Advanced exam, candidates have to first appear for the JEE4 Main exam. Dharwad IIT, also accepts other national-level entrance exams such as GATE for admission to its specific courses.
