The NIRF 2024 rankings are out. In the Engineering category, IIT Jammu has secured the #62 spot. Its ranking has improved from last year. In 2023, the institute was ranked #67 in the Engineering category.

The previous year’s cutoff and rank trends show that the ideal GATE rank for IIT admission is around 200 or lower. However, the competitive range for GATE scores for IIT admissions falls between 400 and 800. Candidates must check the official website of the IITs to check the cutoff and ranks (stream-wise).

Indian Institute of Technology, Jammu has a total seat intake of 320 for its BTech programmes. The seat intake for each of the offered course specialisation is 40. Candidates are admitted to the BTech programmes based on their JEE Advanced scores and as per the sanctioned seat intake. The mentioned seat count is as per the official website/sanctioning body. It is still subject to changes and hence, is indicative.

IIT Bombay cutoff has been released for admission M.Sc courses based on the IIT JAM score. IIT Bombay accepts IIT JAM scores, followed by IIT JAM Counselling process for admission to the M.Sc course.
