The eligibility criteria for admission in IITs, NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs are decided by the institute and not by NTA. JEE Main eligibility criteria decided by NTA are only meant for appearing in the examination. The details about eligibility criteria for admission to the institute are provided by Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA), the counselling authority which admits students to these institutes. Yes, with an 82.5 percentile and being an OBC NCL category student and PWD category candidate of rank 165, you do have chances to get admission into the Computer Science (CS) branch at some National Institute of Technology (NIT). For IIT, you will have to appear for the JEE Advanced exam.

IIT Bhubaneshwar JAM Cutoff 2024 has been out for Round 2. The most competitive course was M.Sc. + Ph.D. in Geology, with the Cutoff of 111. For the OBC AI category candidates, the Cutoff for the same course closed at 216.If the Cutoff rank is more than 111, there is no scope of admission to IITs for M.Sc+Ph.D. in Geology.

The IIT Bhilai Jam Cutoff 2024 has been released for Round 2. The most competitive course was M.Sc in Mathematics and Computing, with the Cutoff of 511, with the General AI category candidates. For the OBC AI category candidates, the Cutoff stood at 666. If the Cutoff rank is more than 511, there is no scope for admission to IITs for M.Sc in Mathematics and Computing.
