It depends on the round on which you are allocated a seat. For students who got seat in 2nd round are required to report on 4th or 5th July. The whole schedule can be downloaded from

Good to read that you have cleared GATE, so based on GATE (as you intend to settle soon) you can seek employment in a lot of PSU and after working for 3 years explore Executive MBA or distance MBA and this sharpen your skills and gets it benefit in your employment. A lot of private sector/MNC companies that are into Animal feeds, agro chemicals, CD /FMCG space hire people with your kind of qualification so you could also look at them and later based on your interest explore MBA in relative fields.

For OBC - NCL students; if family annual income is less than 4.5 or 6 Lacs (not sure ) then you can get nearly 50 % scholarships in tuition fee. For more details regarding scholarships you can visit national scholarship portal on internet.

You can report at reporting center also. After that, you have to report at admitted college within the given time. They may give you 3 - 5 days for reporting at the institute you got.

If you get a seat in the special round, then your last seat will get cancelled. If you don't get any seat then your last will be retained. I don't know whether it will affect a seat of IIT or not as you can go for counselling of both.
