This time it's percentile and not percentage, which means if your son gets 52 percentile that is your son is 52 percent ahead of other students and 48 percent below other students. And, to qualify JEE Mains exam you need to get 70 percentile. Good luck.

I am afraid, what you are seeking is just not feasible. For getting admission in any IIT, one has to appear for and get good rank in JEE Mains and JEE advanced. It's the rank in later that will decide your chances of admission.

There will be no effect on job, but if you go through an interview for a job, they will surely ask the reason for drop. All the best.

As per me you can go for colleges like:
1) BIMM
2) ISBS
3) RIIMS
4) ITM, Navi Mumbai. etc. I am currently studying in BIMM. For more details about any particular college comment below.

The subject syllabus will be same in IITS, but the mode by which they approach to the syllabus might vary from one IIT to another. All the best.

Other than IIT there are many good universities to apply like:
1) SRM University
2) Manipal University
3) VIT
4) Amity University
5) Lovely Professional University and many more.

You will have to wait for some time to get the information. Since the result was out on 5th January 2019, I think you should at least wait till the end of the month.

The eligibility criteria of JAM 2019 will give candidates the details of the minimum marks required by candidates to qualify to apply for the exam. JAM is an annual entrance exam conducted by IIT, as part of the admission to the various Postgraduate programmes offered by the participating IITs.

For getting admission in IIT, you will have to take JEE Main and JEE advance. You will have to complete your class 12th exam. You can find all information on www.jeemain.nic.in and www.jeeadv.nic.in. Feel free ask anything.
