For taking admission in IIT, you will need a rank below 1500 and marks at least 250+ in JEE advance to get easy admission in aeronautical engineering. I hope this will help you.

See, it depends on the child. There is one child who studies more and devotes 5-6 hours daily and there is one child who only studies 1-2 hours daily still secure more marks than the first one. So, it is up to you only that how much you grab and what is your sitting capacity.
