Hello Boby, What perhaps you mean is scope of electrical engineering. Right? This branch is one of the oldest branches of engineering and even today it has tremendous potential. So if you are interested, then it's definitely good choice. Just do not worry.

After this you should go for that subject first which is more familiar to you. Complete each topic day by day with questions on ascending order of difficulty. Hi,
Both are equally difficult. However, in my opinion, an engineer from IIT is more likely to go anywhere in any sector of job. He/she will have many options to make career like MBA from IIM's, IAS IES, PCS, startups, GRE ECT. But on the other hand a CA has more of a limited scope. Either he/she may go for job or practice. However, both (engineer and CA) will earn the maximum if they are flexible in their work.

If it is your first drop, then you can go for a drop year. You need to prepare well for IIT-JEE. Put a determined effort for JEE preparation. Just keep practicing and regularly. Do join a good coaching and keep giving tests to evaluate your performance. You must prepare well and should not waste this effort. Best of luck.

Hi,
It depends upon the rank you have obtained and the cut off set by JEE Advanced. You can google in the previous year opening and closing rank of IITs to get a rough idea of which colleges you can apply for.

Hi,
Kindly google in the previous year opening and closing rank of NITs to get a rough idea of which colleges and which branches you can apply for. As for IIT they refer to the JEE Advanced marks not of JEE Mains.

The average salary fluctuates between 8-10 LPA depending on the number of recruits.
In the year 2015, Samsung Research, newly set UPAT B'lore recruited more than 10 students and offered 14 LPA CTC. This does't happen every year. Biggies like Microsoft, Flipkart, Amazon etc. take 1 or 2 students only and sometimes none. The highest package of around 52 LPA has been offered by Facebook for overseas posting. Facebook did not come this year. It came for internships in 2014 but took no one.
