If you want to get IIT/NIT in your native, you need to score high in IIT-Mains/Advanced. To score high in IIT entrance exam you need to put a dedicated effort. Practice a lot, keep make note of tips and tricks. Try to solve as many problems as possible. Take tests to evaluate yourself. Best of Luck!

Depends on your choice. If you are passionate about coding, go for NIT, if you don't like coding, CSE is for you. In that case, go for IIT electric. Both are good, and you are doing from premier institutes. Good luck and hope it helps ( But what I feel with your marks if you get CSE, it can only be the newer ones. 157 is not enough to get CSE without home state).

I hope you are doing well. Congratulations on getting this rank IN JEE Advance. According to last year cut offs for IITs, almost every IIT opening and closing rank satisfied with your rank. You can get any IIT. Go for counselling and all the best.

It depends on your level of preparation. Factors to consider? One way to know is to take mock tests. You can even take tests online based just on your 11th syllabus, so take a shot to see where you stand.
If you find that you are good at understanding the concepts easily, have sufficient problem-solving abilities, your preparation level is decent, but you need someone to keep kicking you to keep studying, then Kota might be the place for you!
Kota can't create some entirely new abilities in you in just 1-year time, especially because you will take a few months to just get used to the new life.

From 2008, six new IITs IIT Bhubaneswar, IIT Gandhinagar, IIT Hyderabad, IIT Jodhpur, IIT Patna and IIT Ropar) were opened with 120 seats each, increasing the total number of seats to almost 7000.

If you want to get admission in any IIT then You need at least 75% marks in combined all subjects. If you clear JEE advance but you don't have the required marks then you cannot go to IIT. Yes But you can get good NIT if you get good marks in JEE approximately 170+. .
