Hello Jerin,
The admission in IITs is based on the scores in JEE Advanced exams for which you can appear only on the completion of class 12th. In class 11th, you may start your preparations for the exams, and so you can have a chance to get IITs. All the best.

You might come across certain difficulties in dropping 2 years as with your age you won't be able to apply to some colleges. You should consider you age as a factor first and if you think you can do well by dropping twice you should go ahead with your plan.
good luck.

So, there is no syllabus as such but questions are mainly covered pertaining to topics like-analytical and reasoning skills, logical aptitude, design aptitude, general knowledge, english grammar and vocab, mathematical, quantitative and problem solving. Also refer to the UCEED and CEED papers from the years before and other sample papers. Resources on the internet are plenty (which should suffice). Also, there are many books for the above mentioned topics and NIFT, NID study material which you can refer to if needed (for there is some amount of overlap in the syllabus).

It's just a rumor as making IIT-JEE paper subjective is not possible.
