Yes, you can pursue M.Tech at an IIT even if you have done your B.Tech in a private college, it can also be in aeronautical engineering. The only requirement to take admission in M. Any B.Tech from any reputed institution can apply by meeting the eligibility criteria, whether it is having some required percentage in undergraduate degree or something else. For M.Tech admission, IITs verify the GATE score-counseling process afterwards. Hence, there is no restriction on your B.Tech completion eithe

The admission process for M.Tech at IITs generally includes a combination of factors like the GATE score, a possible written test, and an interview. However, the approach can vary by IIT and the specific department. Here's a breakdown:GATE Score: All IITs primarily use the GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) score as the basis for admission. Candidates need to meet the cutoff, which varies by IIT and the discipline.Interview: Some IITs, especially top ones like IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, and IIT Kharagpur, conduct interviews in addition to considering the GATE score. However, not all IITs have this requirement. For instance, IIT R

Candidates who rank very highly in the GATE get direct admission to the B.Tech programs of IITs. IIT Kanpur, IIT Delhi, IIT Bombay, IIT Madras, directly admit or prefer candidates at rank below 100 from the GATE examination. Nevertheless, for certain courses of IITs, up to rank 600 or even more candidates get admitted under the course. IITs like IIT Roorkee and IIT Guwahati may give invitations even to the candidates as high as rank 1000.i hope you got your answer Thanks

No, you cannot pursue a B.Sc degree at an IIT without taking the JEE exam, as the primary route for admission to undergraduate programs at IITs, including B.Sc degrees, is through the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced. However, there is a specific exception: IITs do offer B.Sc programs (such as B.Sc in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, etc.), but these are usually available at a few IITs, and admission to these courses also requires qualifying the JEE Advanced exam. The general eligibility criteria for B.Sc courses at IITs are similar to those for B.Tech programs, with candidates needing to clear JEE Mains first, followed by JEE
