In IIT, if you studied well, then you get placements through any Branch, but if you want high package, so I suggest you to opt Computer engineering.

Yes, you have to join IIT coaching classes after 10th only. It's of 2 years, i.e. 11-12th.

The best university for mechanical engineering comprises of Amity University, Manav Rachna International University, SRM University-Ghaziabad, Benett University, Ansal University, UPES, PDM University, etc.

At that time, you just focus on your 10th board and after clearing your board just focus on NCERT books. You can choose some other books if you want to for IIT but the main focus should be on the NCERTs.
