Unfortunately, medium of teaching in IITs or NITs or IIITs is still English. Hence, it's better to get grip on this language. NCERT books are the best.

Now, very less time is left and time has come to give it everything. I would suggest you take a crash course in one of the coaching classes. They teach you tricks of solving questions quickly.

A doctoral degree is typically required to work as a full-time, tenure-track university professor. You should be prepared to earn an undergraduate degree in your chosen subject area, go to graduate school, complete a Ph.D. programme, conduct independent research, and write and publish articles in scholarly journals.
As you keep on earning more experience in the field, you will become eligible to be a professor in IIIT. Check the careers section on the IIIT website for the minimum eligibility criteria to be a professor.
I hope this answers your question. If you have any further questions, kindly revert.

Guwahati is perhaps the best place for a student from Assam to prepare for JEE Mains and then JEE Advanced for getting admission in either NIT or IIT.

Yes, you would be eligible for IIT even if you take more than one attempt to clear your 12th but have managed to score more than 75% provided and of course that you meet DOB and other criteria too.

You need to do marine engineering. For this, either CET of your state or JEE Mains are the requirements. Of course, you need to score enough in class 12th to qualify.
Best wishes.

The minimum 75% average in +2 is required for admission in IIT, but I want to make it clear that score in +2 has no role/impact for determining the rank of a candidate in JEE Mains or Advanced exam.
