You can collect the previous year question papers with their solutions as it will help you to analyse the pattern. You should revise the areas in which you are strong, but work on the areas in which you are weak.
Best of luck.

IITs, followed by NITs and IIITs are definitely the top colleges for B.Tech (engineering). These colleges are cost-effective as well. However, getting through to these colleges isn't easy. Further, they provide limited seats.
Due to this, many students who couldn't get through to IITs/ NITs opt for private colleges. If you're interested in private colleges, there are hundreds of private colleges in India which provide quality education and placements.
I hope this helps.

Getting the free seat actually happens, when the person crosses the cut-off mark and should score few more marks more than the cut-off mark. As per you, if you feel that you have score minimum of 25% marks more than cut-off mark in JEE exam, then you have a chance to get a free seat. But, it may be the top-most IIT college, but in any IIT or NIT you can get.
All the best.

It entirely depends on the cut off of that particular year. But getting 230+ would ensure your admission in CS in good NITs. In case of IITs you need to just qualify JEE Mains but have to do well in JEE Advanced.
