IIT Tirupati welcome aspirants from ASEAN countries to apply for PhD fellowships. The full-time foreign PhD research scholars are eligible for financial assistantship of INR 25,000 per month for the first two years and INR 28000 per month for next three years of registration. All such research scholars have to put in eight hours every week towards work assigned by the institute.

The entire process including the application, seat allotment, document upload and fee payment processes of the CCMN will be conducted in online mode for admission to IIT Tirupati and other IITs for MSc. The registration fee for CCMN for the General, General-EWS and OBC category candidates is INR 3,000 and that for the reserved category candidates is INR 2,500.

One of the new IITs founded in 2015 is IIT Tirupati. IIT Tirupati is well known for its flagship programme, the B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering (CSE).The IIT Tirupati CSE branch's JEE Advanced cutoff ranges from 1682 to 3360.The overall cost of the B.Tech programme at IIT Tirupati is INR 8 Lacs. All B.Tech. courses require a passing score on the JEE Main and JEE Advanced exams in order to get admitted.Additionally, candidates must participate in the JoSAA counselling session for the final seat allocation.

IIT Tirupati offers a two-year M.Tech programme across various specialisations. Admission to this programme is subject to a valid GATE score followed by COAP Counselling. The specialisations available under MTech include Civil & Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering and Electrical Engineering.
