You may also consider other good colleges such as IMU Chennai, AMET University, Vels University, Hindustan, SAMS, etc. If you are ready consider other locations, Then also try at Tolani Institute Pune, Samundra Pune, BP Marine Mumbai, Noorul islam University Kanyakumari, etc.

International Maritime Academy Chennai gives good placement to candidates. Companies ranging from Chennai Ports, Kochin Port trust,P&O, TransOcean, MaerskLine etc used to hire candidates from the institute.
At the same time, There are other good Colleges in Chennai for Marine Engineering course. They are:
Indian Maritime University,
AMET University,
Vels University etc.

International Maritime Academy is one of the finest Marine institute in Chennai. Affiliated to Annamalai University and recognised by DGCA, India. Established in the year 1999. IMA Chennai have courses ranging from UG, PG and Diplomas. They are B.Sc. Nautical Science, B.Tech Marine engineering, B.Tech Naval Architecture, Diploma in Nautical Science (DNS), GP Rating Course, BBA Shipping and Logistics, MBA Shipping Management and Logistics etc. These courses have different eligibilities as per International Maritime Academy.
