Admission to BBA LLB (Hons), BA LLB (Hons) and PhD is based on entrance exam. For admission to all the other courses, merit in the last qualifying exam is considered. After the application process, the university considers the eligibility of the candidates and releases a merit list with the names of shortlisted candidates. Shortlisted aspirants are called for counselling and document verification. Candidates need to pay a fee to confirm their seat in the university.

As IMS is known as a B school, hence the best course offered here is BBA & MBA. Although various other courses like BBA LL.B. Hons. B.A. Hons. BHM Mhm, are also very fruitful.
