IMU CET Counselling

Candidates desirous of getting admission to Affiliated Institutes of IMU / other DGS-approved Maritime Training Institutes (MTIs) affiliated to other universities may directly approach the College / Institutes of their choice after obtaining the IMU CET rank certificate issued by IMU.

The courses offered via the IMU CET counselling process are:UGBSc (NS)B.Tech (Marine Engineering)BTech (Naval Architecture & Ocean Engineering)DiplomaDNSPGMBA (Port and Shipping Management)MBA (International Transportation and Logistics Management)MTech (Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering)M.Tech (Dredging and Harbour Engineering)MTech (Marine Engineering & Management)PhDPhD / MS (By Research) / Integrated PhD

Candidates who have been issued with IMU CET Rank Certificate are provided with a portal through which they can select the Programme (s) and the Campus (es) where they desire to take admission. Candidates have to register on this portal by making an online payment of INR 10,000/- towards the Counselling Fee. The Counselling Fee is nonrefundable if a seat is allotted on any campus in any programme; else INR 9000 will get refunded. The Candidate should choose multiple options in the order of their preference for:Programmes (Based on fulfilment of eligibility conditions)IMU Campuses

IMU CET counselling registration is open and the last date to register is June 26. IMU conducts the IMU CET counselling in online mode for admission in 6 campuses of IMU. Shortlisted candidates are called for appearing in the counselling. Candidates have to go through various stages which are registration, choice filling, seat allotment, document verification, fee payment etc.

As we cannot predict the possible marks vs rank, before the examination. It will depend on the toughness of the exam. For revision, you should solve all the previous year problems. No need to cover extra topics. Best of luck.
