From the fund, the university awards 5 eligible SC/ST students scholarships worth Rs. 50,000 each. The Indian Maritime University, Chennai-Mumbai awards the scholarships on a semester basis. The hostels of Indian Maritime University, Chennai-Mumbai Campus MERI are clean and have all the amenities that are required.There are single, double, and triple sharing rooms available at the hostel.The hostel offers the students a warm and secure atmosphere.Outdoor and indoor activities, a pool, and a medical facility for routine checkups and emergencies are all provided at the hostel.
