Candidates must pass the IMU Common Entrance Test (IMU CET) in order to be admitted to IMU Chennai. After the test, candidates go through an online counseling process where seats are assigned according to their rankings. Make sure you fulfill the requirements for eligibility and submit your application on the official IMU website. CAT/MAT/CMAT and GATE/CUET (PG)/PGCET scores may also be used for MBA and M.Tech admissions, respectively. A separate exam and interview are necessary for PhD programs.

IMU CHENNAI CAMOUS is the main Campus of Indian Maritime University but their standard of education and training is not good as that of IMU MUMBAI (TS CHANAKYA). Placement ratio of CHENNAI cadets is also less as compared to that of MUMBAI. Also TS CHANAKYA is also one of the best Maritime institution of ASIA .Placement Experience: Our Placement of the college is best from all marine colleges and 85% of the cadets get placed.
