Hi Abhinav!
You should have completed your 10+2 from a recognized education board with at least 60% marks in order to be eligible for the entrance exam of the said course.

Yes, on the basis of your rank in IMT, you can get admission in AEMS and SIMS, but not in IMU.

Admission in Indian Maritime University for B.Tech in Marine Engineering (Lateral Entry) is done through counseling based on the rank obtained in Indian Maritime University Common Entrance Test (IMU-CET). Candidate must have studied English with minimum 60% marks in 10/10+2.
