Yes, B.Techin Marine engineering (Lateral Entry) is offered by IMU - IMU Kolkata Indian Maritime University. Seperate exam for Lareral Entry is conducted in IMUCET every year and one need to haveDiplomain mechanical engineering to get admission as Lateral Entry inB.TechMarine Engineering.

The fees forB.Techin Marine engineering (Lateral Entry) at IMU-IMU Kolkata Indian Maritime University remains the same as regular course i.e. Rs.1,25,000 for semester 3, 5, 7 and Rs 1,00,000 for semester 4,6,8. The lateral entry cadets directly enters in semester 3 on admission so they are exempted from 1st year and it's fees.

Yes, MEO Class- I Preparatory course is offered at IMU-IMU Kolkata Indian Maritime University. The classes are held after the normal routine course classes . If one needs to enroll in them, they need to contact the authorities for the same .

The fee structure forB.Techin Marine engineering at IMU-IMU Kolkata Indian Maritime University is Rs.1,25,000 for every odd semester I.e.semester 1,3,5,7 and Rs.1,00,000 for every even semester I.e semester 2,4,6,8. In Total 4 years cost Rs.9,00,000. There are various scholarships as well for meritorious students. The fees includes mess charges, books, uniform charges, tuition fees, hostel fees, etc.

Yes TheB.Techin Marine Engineering course is offered at IMU-IMU KOLKATA Indian Maritime University.  It is one of the best institute in india fir Maritime studies. The training inculcated to the cadets are remarkable and of the highest order in the field of Maritime industry.

The fee structure for Mtech in Marine technology and Management at IMU-IMU Kolkata Indian Maritime University is Rs.2,25,000 per year for 2 years of these courses. The fees includes hostel charges, laundry, tuition fees, mess charges and all other charges.

MTech in Marine technology and Management is also offered in IMU-IMU Kolkata Indian Maritime University.  They also get the best faculty and best infrastructure classes within the campus. The placements are also offered on campus and hostel, mess facilities are provided to them.

It is good, although you shouldn't expect much from any mess of any college. The quality of food is good on average and there are mess members from each batch who decide their menu for the whole month with the consultations of other cadets.

There is no CGPA concept at IMU Kolkata, because the marks are calculated in percentage and you pass with a percentage system of marks. As you score well you will definitely have a good percentage of marks that will help to get placed with good companies.
