IMUCET is Indian Maritime University Common Entrance Test (IMU CET) is a national-level entrance exam conducted annually by the Indian Maritime University (IMU) for admission to its undergraduate and postgraduate maritime programs. Only citizens of India are eligible to write this exam. Hence if you are a citizen of Nepal, you cannot attempt to write this exam.

Hello Parmal, This year the entrance exam conducted for different courses by Indian maritime university stands cancelled. Admissions will be based on the marks obtained by the students in their respective qualifying exams. To take care of the different standards of examination of different boards there is a standard formula or SOP, called normalisation of marks. This will be applied and then the final merit list will be made of all the students who have applied. The IMU classes for academic year 2020-21 will be commenced from 05.10.2020 and onward, and the most of the boards conducts their 12th exam in the months of February and March 202. So can not eligible for IMUCET 2020 exam. Note : Those who are going to appear in the qualifying examination later than August 2020 are not eligible to appear in Online CET 2020.

"IMU-CET is scheduled on 16.08.2020 for admissions to the UG, PG and Research Programmes for the Academic Year 2020-21. The Registration link will be opened on 26.06.2020". So from above you can apply for IMUCET-2020. The eligibility criteria of IMUCET for B.Tech Marine Engineering is given below for an idea. Eligibility criteria : 10+2 or equivalent (PCM - 60% average and minimum of 50% marks in English subject in 10th or 12th Examination. )
Note: In case of SC/ST candidates there will be a 5% relaxation in eligibility marks, it will not apply to English marks. Important : Only unmarried candidates are eligible to apply for these progr
