IMU- CET :Indian Maritime University conducts an entrance exam IMUCET for various courses such as B.Sc. Nautical Science, B.Sc. Marine, B.Sc. First of all candidates have to concentrate on the exam pattern and syllabus of the CET according to the course opted. Candidates can practice basic Mathematics, GK and English to prepare for the examination. Go for the complete IMUCET syllabus with deep study and try to cover all important topics before one month the exam. It is very important to make a timetable for study so, make a proper schedule and follow it on a regular basis. Follow a healthy lifestyle and get adequate sleep. Applicants must not be more than 21 years of age, as on September 1, 2017. Female applicants must be 22 years as on September 1, 2017.
The minimum age limit is 17 years.
2. Qualifying Exam & Pass Percentage:
Applicants must have passed 10+2 securing minimum aggregate marks of 60%.
Applicants who have appeared in 10+2 in the year 2017 will be considered eligible to take TMISAT 2017.
3. Subjects to study in qualifying exam:
They need to score the qualifying marks taking Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics together in 10+2.
4. Other Boards:
Candidates who have appeared in International Board need to submit an Equivalence Certificate

You just need your basics to be as clear as possible. See, stick to the class 12th syllabus mostly. For Maths, coordinate, algebra, little bit complex number, calculus and integral calculus is enough. For physics class 12th syllabus is enough, although I would recommend you to study class 11th materials too. I was personally never confident about my class 11th concepts. For Chemistry, do the physical chemistry properly.
