For UG admissions if you are preparing for other competitive exams then that's enough for IMUCET preparation. For PG admissions if I talk about M.Tech then there are several books available for engineering competitive exams like GATE or engineering service exams. Prepare from those I am sure you will score good. Tip: do focus a little bit more on topics related to fluid dynamics/mechanics. The questions asked in IMUCET are very straight forward formula based which also includes a little bit of easy English and simple GK syllabus.

Hello,
You just need your basics to be as clear as possible. See, stick to the class 12th syllabus mostly. For Maths, coordinate, algebra, little bit complex number, calculus and integral calculus is enough. For physics class 12th syllabus is enough, although I would recommend you to study class 11th materials too. I was personally never confident about my class 11th concepts. For Chemistry, do the physical chemistry properly.

Selection Process for B.Tech in Marine engineering:
The selection process differs from institute to institute. Mostly, it is in the form of entrance test. It can be followed by GD, PI, psychometric test or medical examination depending on the institution. Direct entry may also be allowed by some institutions. Some institutions like C. V. Raman College of Engineering, Bhubaneswar offer direct entry alongside entrance test. Regards.

Now for general knowledge part, go without preparing I would say, it would come natural to you. Do well! I was expecting under 100 rank but eventually landed in 600's.
