Candidates from Kerala typically do not have to take a separate entrance exam in order to be admitted to self-financing private colleges in Tamil Nadu. Rather, entrance is usually determined by the score on the qualifying exam (such as the 12th standard). While some universities may accept results from national or state-level entry tests provided they are relevant to the course, others may demand counseling based on grades or other criteria. For specifics, it is advised to review each college's criteria.

A CUET score of 450 is probably competitive for admission to Assam University's BA program, though this will vary by course and category. Candidates are ranked by Assam University according to their CUET results, preferences, and category reservations in distinct merit lists for each course. During the application process, carefully consider your course options to increase your chances. Once the CUET results are available, you can apply using their online admissions page.
