A management medical seat in Karnataka under the General Merit (GM) category can be obtained with 450 NEET scores, albeit it is tough. The particular college, the demand during that academic year, and the cut-off patterns all affect your prospects. Private colleges may offer a small edge in terms of state quotas for Karnataka residents, although highly sought-after institutions can demand better marks. Look up college cut-offs to get a better idea.

The general BA Economics programme is just different from the BA Economics (Hons) programme because the former provides general knowledge of economics, and the latter is more specialised as it focuses on advanced topics with a research-oriented approach. In Gujarat, BA Economics programs are offered by colleges such as St. Xavier's College, Ahmedabad, MSU Baroda, Sardar Patel University, Gujarat University, and SNDT University. Admission is merit-based, and eligibility requires 10+2 in Economics or Commerce. Some colleges may also conduct entrance exams or have specific marks criteria for admission.

Many Indian universities do a lot in the way of preparing MBA students to found their own ventures. The Indian School of Business provides incubation, seed funding, and mentorship via the Wadhwani Centre for Entrepreneurship Development. IIM Ahmedabad, Bangalore, and Calcutta have startup incubators, innovation hubs, and funding networks. XLRI and SIBM Pune do the same through a hub for entrepreneurship and investors' partnerships. Others include Amity University, Ashoka University, and Shiv Nadar University, which offer incubation support, technical guidance, and funding.

There is presently no NIT in the state of Karnataka conducting a B.Planning course, but this programme is available in NITs such as NIT Calicut, NIT Bhopal, and NIT Patna. For those who want to pursue the B.Planning course specifically in Karnataka, NITTE University in Mangalore is offering a Bachelor of Planning (B.Plan) to students. This would prove to be a good third option for students to have a look at while aiming for planning studies in Karnataka.

OBC candidates in Kerala often have a lower cutoff for admission to the B.Sc. Agriculture programme than those in the general category, though this might vary by college and year. For instance, in the past, in order to be eligible for admission, an OBC candidate may have needed to receive 380 or higher on the ICAR exam. Determining eligibility for state-based admissions is also significantly influenced by Kerala's KEAM cutoff for B.Sc. Agriculture
